People shoot each other with guns.
As you may know, I am not the biggest Sword Art Online fan. Fortunately, this has very little to do with Sword Art Online. Only the setting is the same.
What I like about this show is how enthusiastic and positive everyone is as they attempt to murder all their friends (in the video game). They’re always sporting big grins as they kill people and it looks like they’re having a lot of fun. Even as the people they kill seem to suffer the pain they would feel from actually dying in horribly gruesome ways. Or at least that’s how it looks like. So that’s slightly disturbing. But whatever.
The fight scenes were pretty awesome. Which, fortunately, is most of the show. The conflicts in the real world were pretty stupid. Like the main character isn’t happy that she’s tall. Boo-fucking-hoo. The main “villain” wants to commit suicide after she plays one last video game. Yeah… her character did not make the most sense to me… but it added some stakes to the game, I suppose.
Best girl is LLENN’s sidekick who has this huge grin and makes bad jokes all the time.
It was a fun show.
