Yet another shitty magical school harem anime.

Okay so I say that, but my taste is trash and I actually really enjoyed this one. Plus this genre has been on the outs lately in favor of isekai so it felt like a nice visit to the past.

This adaptation plays the corniness and the dumb premise up to eleven and has a ton of fun with it so you can’t help but enjoy it. To give a sense for the show’s sense of humor, the anime ends with two of the characters crying with joy that they’re so happy that the main character has finally made a few friends at school. It’s corny but it knows it which helps a ton.

• Voice – A – Despite the extremely generic premise, felt unique.
• Characters – C – Ok there’s only so much they can do for the characters though.
• Attention Grab – B – Kept my interest throughout.
