This is one of my favorite recent manga, and the anime captured the appeal perfectly. Catarina is just such a joy. Overcoming all her problems with stubbornness and love. Such a wholesome and beautiful story. To think that the isekai genre which is dominated by awful and cruel stories like Shield Hero can also give birth to something like this. (although I guess the cruel streak is mostly recent? stories like Twelve Kingdoms and Escaflowne and Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court are older)
