A girl who can see ghosts meets an exorcist.
It’s intended for a younger audience, and fairly predictable, but the first episode was reasonably enjoyable. I like how matter of factly the main character takes everything. And how that guy is such a poor cheapskate…
I doubt I’ll watch to the end, but I’ll probably give the next episode a shot at least.
I ask myself why I felt that some bits are anticlimactic, if not forced, but that might be just me.
Oh definitely it’s a bit forced.
I’m kind of getting tired of watching heterosexual couples in Anime. I mean, they’re everywhere, there is nothing new or particularly struggling about a girl and a guy in love. Now I would like to see homosexual couples as the heros. It could be two guys or two girls discovering their mutual love, helping each other, sharing happiness and struggles.
Just like the whole story seems predictable, already seen many times before so is the relationship of these two characters in Kyoukai no Rinne.
It is time for renovation in anime.
I don’t think it’s really a matter of the couples being heterosexual. I mean, look at the yaoi shows, there’s even less new in that genre, as amazing as that is.
