I for one am bored to death of kind anime characters who ganbarimasu. Talk about boring.

Fortunately, 2016 was an amazing year for anime best girls who didn’t have the best personalities. Some were, objectively speaking, little pieces of shit. Others weren’t necessarily bad people, just lazy as fuck. Still others were merely incompetent. And some had lost their marbles. But all of them were adorable.

Danganronpa 3 Future Arc Episode 7. One of my favorite episodes of the year.

Imouto and Touka spend the first half of the episode fighting a horde of monokuma mechas in an attempt to reach what looks, from the first half of the show, like it could be the final boss.
