Weekly, once every other month, whatever.
Hunter X Hunter: Way to go, Leorio!!! I kind of think the show should have just ended right there. It’s sad that it’s almost over. But, on the other hand, I’m delighted we’ve finally moved on to a new arc. Wasn’t a big fan of the last one. This one is great so far, I enjoy the politicking between the hunters. And everything involving Killua’s family. Continue reading The Week in Anime Summer 2014 #1 — More Like Two Months in Anime
The world of Mahouka is a world of moral insanity. Right and wrong are inverted. Discrimination is right, violence is peace, power is justice, and the weak are scapegoated and dehumanized. When the world is this screwed up, what can one do? Anyone who attempts to rebel is quickly retaliated against, through the main tools in the toolkit of evil: violence and scapegoating. Those who resist the social insanity in Mahouka are brutally tortured and killed by glorious freedom fighters such as Erika. Others who resist are shamed into insignificance, by being labeled as “terrorists” and vilified as traitors who work with foreigners. Their rebellion is blamed on personal and psychological problems and they are considered foolish or mad or insane, even while they are the only sane people in a world that has gone mad.
But even in such a world, Mahouka (unintentionally) offers a glimmer of hope, through the hero of this week’s episode.
What a great week for Aldnoah Zero. Episodes like this are the reason I watch anime. Amazing ending. Fascinating contrast between Slaine’s torture while he gets NTR’d by Inaho and the princess. Continue reading Aldnoah Zero 08 — Slaine is NTR’d
This is part 25 of my SAO summary / fanfiction. You can start with Part 1 here.

“Wh-what?!! Where have you been looking, Kirito-kun?!”
Sinon took a peek at Kirito’s sword. It was large and firm, as always. Continue reading Sword Art Online II 08 — Sinon Claims Kirito’s Sword
You know, I meant the title to sound ridiculous, but lately… Continue reading Zankyou no Terror 07 — The Worst Terrorists are the Police
