Wow. I expected an incomplete, terrible ending, but this exceeded my wildest expectations. Cannot say I expected Ka-el to instigate a war of aggression against the Sky Clan.
We spend the first quarter of the episodes with the old guys around a table discussing the geography of the world, which they have just learned even though they seem to have developed airplanes a long long time ago. Apparently the world is a big version of the Isla. Great. Because the Isla is so meaningful to them. That’s why they just tossed it in the trash when they were done with it.
Then Ka-el gives a speech about how he loves Claire and wants to rescue her. Drums up the citizen’s support and gives weight to the counter-revolution. Or something.
Oh and the dorm manager is a spy for the Sky Clan. Not that she ever does anything. I guess that sort of explains why her character exists though?
Then Airi cries as Ka-el leaves. Before that she restrains herself from caressing him in his sleep.
ANNNDD we end with Ka-el initiating a war of aggression against the Sky Clan. Seriously, how are these people supposed to be the good guys? I don’t understand it at all.
But you see, he’s in love so it’s not really a war of aggression at all. Seriously though, that’s not even the worst part of the episode considering imouto suddenly having feels.
Eh, I don’t think that was sudden. It was implied since the first episode. Still doesn’t make it any less stupid though.
The show’s so cheesy that it sickens me down to the last blood cell in my body.
I feel the same way, my friend.
