Banished From the Hero’s Party, I Decided To Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside S2 — B

A new hero appears.

I started out wondering why on earth this was getting a sequel. The last one had come to a very satisfactory conclusion, with the main character’s sister overcoming her hero’s blessing / fate to live how she wanted. But actually, the second season ended up being worthwhile. It took things in a similar but slightly different direction, looking at a new hero who was much too eager to fulfill his fated role which led to disastrous consequences and needed to be guided on the right path.

Didn’t quite live up to the first season but still good. They are way too lenient on excusing this hero kid’s multiple attempted murders and genocides due to his blessing though haha.

  • Storytelling – B – Keeps things engaging and always goes back to the same central themes.
  • Voice – B – Not the most exciting setting but treats it in a unique way.
  • Characters – B – Well thought out and consistent.
  • Attention Grab – B – Feels like not much is happening but it’s still very engaging.
  • Production – B – Looks fine.
  • Overall – B

RecommendationsSuppose a kid from the last dungeon boonies moved to a starter town
