A Japanese kid took a class once and is the best king ever because he is realistic. Ah, all of our problems could be solved if only our leaders were rational people!

Also, for a show purporting to be about realism, this is one of the least realistic isekai I have ever seen. Kid shows up and the king realizes he’s smarter so he gives him the throne. And what is his brilliant policy that allows him to turn the kingdom around? “Let’s find people who are good at stuff and listen to them.” GENIUS!!! If only our leaders had thought of that there would be no more war and we would have solved global warming!!!”

Also, this show has the absolute worst romance I have ever seen in anime. And I have seen a lot of bad romances in anime. There is absolutely no reason these people have to like each other??? To be fair, no one else has any reason to like either of these two people either. They are BORING. On the other hand, maybe that means they deserve each other.
