The king of beasts is supposed to murder his sacrifice, but instead he marries her.
So this is a show targeting older kids (I think), but I really loved it! I feel like with all the isekai about slavery, it was refreshing just to have a show with its moral compass set straight. And this is a lovely story about trust, friendship and overcoming discrimination.
My favorite part was the story of the chancellor Anubis. He’s opposed to the girl becoming the queen the whole time, and she constantly fights with him, but how they deal with his loyalty to the king and his inner turmoil his great. I especially loved the arc with the captain of the queen’s guard too.
Anyway, great show! I don’t think anyone else watched this but it was one of my favorites the past two seasons.

Am I the only person who felt this was one of the most dull, predictable, and banal works of fiction ever produced? I agree, its heart was in the right place, but everything else about it was just a grinding bore of five cent moral lessons.
