Mardock Scramble: The Second Combustion Review — D+

I liked the first movie, but this was just pointless.

The first half of the movie is spent skinny dipping with talking dolphins in the rainbow cyber ocean. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against talking dolphins. Howard was a pretty cool dolphin. But although this movie tries its best to be trippy, the Illuminatus Trilogy this is not. Japanese people on drugs are about as wild as sober Americans. Crusher Joe: The Movie Review — D

This review is part of the Reverse Thieves Secret Santa project. I was also recommended Rainbow and Silent Mobius, which I was planning to watch as well. Unfortunately, that never happened. I probably would have enjoyed those more, but with my trip over the last two weeks I didn’t have much time.

Sengoku Collection is a show about genderbent Sengoku era warlords. We’ve seen this premise a million times, and it never amounted to anything before. So everyone’s first reaction was not to pay any attention to this show.
