Ugh, SHAFT.
This one is based on a collection of songs. I watched the music video for one of the songs and it was better than any of the episodes, even though the music wasn’t that great. So I’m not sure why this show exists.
The plot was difficult to follow. In summary: a bunch of children with magic powers make friends. Then snakes. It was too much effort to figure out much more and I didn’t care enough to bother to try.
It’s the same as most recent SHAFT shows: all style and no substance. Oh, and the style is the exact same of every one of their other shows.
- Storytelling – F – So confusing, no idea what’s going on.
- Voice – F – Same as always.
- Characters – C – I’ll admit, the characters are pretty interesting. I especially like the green girl. Sadly they aren’t used for much.
- Attention Grab – D – Occasionally an attention grabbing episode, mainly when there are battles. Unfortunately those are rare.
- Production – D – Ugh, SHAFT.
- Overall – D-
Recommendations – Gatchaman Crowds, Persona 4, Durarara!
I disagree with you. If you don’t like it, why you made this review? When anyone search for this anime review, they’ll totally misunderstood this anime as boring as you thought.
The story are easy to follow (if you pay attention). Okay, the characters are good as you say. And what do you mean the voice ‘same as always’? You want to be a new seiyuu? What’s wrong if they took a popular seiyuu?
Next, I admit SHAFT style were bit boring. As I watched this anime from first episode, I knew this was the same company which made Bakemonogatari.
At first, Bakemonogatari seems borring and I stopped watched it since episode 2 for along time. Then, one day on my free time I suddenly felt like watching it. I realized I can follow the plot. Since then I follow until end.

LOL. What nerve. Just because you don’t like an anime doesn’t mean you shouldn’t review it.
Yeah, reviews would be pretty useless if you only wrote positive ones…
