Lots of exciting things going on in the anime blogger universe.

  1. I have a new layout! Special thanks to Ahelo of Traveler on Revenge for designing the gorgeous new banner! He made three more as well, which I am looking forward to rolling out in the future! All of these banners are beautiful, and I’m quite happy with how the site looks now. If you’re wondering, I made the background image, and I don’t think it’s too shabby either!

    Let me know what you think of the new layout, and if there’s anything I can do to improve it.

  2. I wrote a guest post with Cholisose on the movie Angel’s Egg. We had quite different opinions, so check out our discussion!

After last week’s episode, I was already prepared to look at this episode through the language of Christianity. It’s surprisingly easy to do: Kokoro Connect’s message mirrors Paul’s epistles remarkably closely.

Desires of the Flesh and of the Spirit

Heartseed’s new game is to make the characters subject to the whims of their desires, greatly weakening their powers of self-control. According to Paul, there are two types of conflicting desires:
