Another Sengoku era show with girls as warlords. Just what we need.

Or at least, that’s what I expected to say. But I actually liked this! Sure, it looks like it’ll be a pandering fetch quest. But I liked the main character. She has oversized breasts, but she also has a personality. And most importantly, the show actually has a good sense of humor.

The animation is good as well. It reminds me a lot of Penguindrum, which is not surprising since it’s animated by the same studio. It’s not as high quality as Penguindrum, but stylistically it’s quite similar.

I’ll stick with this. I just hope it avoids the trap of becoming a fetch quest / harem building exercise as we collect more girls for the Sengoku collection.
