So Hakase is dead, because they found her perfectly preserved skeleton without a fleck of dirt or flesh on it. Seems totally legit.

I mean, it has to be her! Look at that skull. It’s so nicely shaped. No one else had such a nicely shaped head as she did.

But no, she can’t be dead. You think she’s the type to die, even if killed?

I don’t know which side to believe. Both of them make such compelling arguments!

On the other hand, the rest of the episode didn’t make much sense. Why is Yoshino working with the army behind Mahiro’s back? It seems like since they have the same goal, Mahiro would be happy to let the army help… I don’t really get it. Why did they need to kidnap him in the first place?

And why is Yoshino surprised that Mahiro came to “save” him? Why wouldn’t he…?

The lame attempts at symbolism
