A little girl lives alone with a bunch of lolicon spirits.
It’s a comedy. Decent but nothing great. In the first few episodes I remember giggling a bit, but towards the end it got stale. Never made me laugh out loud. The jokes take too long and most of them aren’t all that good. A good deal of the humor is based on the characters being pedophiles. Hilarious. Much of the rest is about a girl who lives alone and thinks she’s a doll. It’s sad more than funny… Also cup noodles. Hahahaha.
I’ve seen worse. But if you’re going to make a comedy, you should make people laugh.

I have watched the first episode of this and I liked it, so it’s under my anime-to-watch-later list.
Only the dog was a lolicon. The fox and the tanuki genuinely cared for Kohina as parents/guardians.
I liked the jokes in the show. Some of them were too mean or too pedo (when the dog was around) for my tastes though. I loved the references to the Japanese folklore (I found the ‘your mother is a shamisen now’ strangely hilarious).
The seiyuu voicing Kohina did such a great job, but I don’t think you would really appreciate the acting.
I know, I’m exaggerating. 🙂 Yeah, the jokes with the dog were not in my tastes either. The ones with the fox girl were also really… weird. I did find the tanuki pretty amusing.
Yeah, Kohina’s voice actor did great with the monotone / doll thing. You’re right in that I’m not really one to appreciate voice acting well though.
I think the gender-bender part was boring. After all the Ranma 1/2 schtick anything close to that seems done to death.
I’m glad we can agree on Kohina °ω°
Yeah, nothing new about it. It was kind of amusing when Kokkuri turned into a girl and the old guy kept hitting on her, but everything involving Inugami was not too interesting.
Just finished watching this show. I agree that the comedy got staler. It was at its best only at episode 2. Still, it was decent, not completely a waste of time, but not something I’m willing to rewatch.
Also, tanuki best (the only hilarious) character
Yep, tanuki all the way!
Honestly I remember watching this anime when it was streaming, and I loved every moment of it. I’ve been looking for it all over but I can never find it. Sadly. I do miss the characters and I hope they can bring it back, even though it has been 10 years, I still wish to see what it could’ve become
