Well, we knew from the face he’s making that things wouldn’t turn out well.
This was one of my favorite episodes so far. I thought it portrayed the relationship between Yukkiteru and Yuno particularly well. I loved Yuno’s entrance especially. They’re all wondering who could have ruined their plan, when Yuno walks out like a gladiator entering the pit. I especially loved her reaction to Yuuki saying her name.
That smile, her excitement, and the confessions of love while she’s holding a giant knife…. Ahh, Yuno. Yukki’s reaction is priceless as well:

This episode did an excellent job at combing both sides of Yuno, the lovestruck adolescent and the psychotic killer.
Bad Parenting
Can I nominate Yukki’s mother for worst parent of the year? You’re his mother. He’s in middle school. You’d damn well better pry into his life! Especially if he’s been in trouble with the police!
Anime is filled with terrible parents who leave their children behind to live overseas. Or who die and leave them to inherit the house and live there alone. But Yukki’s mom takes the cake.

All he cares about here is that the power gets cut? But not the first and last line in which Mao and Hinata get wounded? What an idiot.
And Ninth is back! (with excellent fashion sense, as always) I hope they don’t just turn her relationship with the detective into a joke again.
Yuno is awesome. I just hope she rediscovers her axe and reverts to the gory bloodletting of the Tsubaki arc.
Although you can see it only on the picture you posted, I just love that innocent white hair ribbon of hers. I guess that’s what you call gap moe.
But my favourite character is the unnamend girl which guides Yukki and Yuno to Tsubaki in ep. 4 and which recently reappeared as the assistant of 8th. You see her in the background here: http://bit.ly/xbIQgl . She has this quirky way of speaking which I find super funny.
Generally Mirai Nikki has so many awesome and funny characters. My favourites are currently: Unnamed girl (see before) > Tsubaki > Yuno > Mao > Murmur (will most certainly go upwards) > 8th.
Yeah, she’s cool with the knife, but bloody axes are the best. 🙂
I like that girl too. I knew I’d seen her before but couldn’t remember where. My favorites are 9th > Nishijima (mainly because of the manga) > Yuno > Tsubaki > Mao. I wish Tsubaki hadn’t been eliminated so early or she probably would have been higher.
