The student council makes crappy dirty jokes over and over again.

This is one series that did NOT need a sequel. The original was decent but nothing all that good.  The problem is, crappy dirty jokes is all this series has going for it. And I was already sick of those by the end of the first season.  To make matters worse, we’ve already had the equivalent of a second series worth of the same dirty jokes in the form of OVAs. The first season at least had some minimal plot progression, and they introduced a new character every few episodes to prevent things from getting too dull. This season we get nothing in terms of plot progression, and I believe a single new character. Plus the dirty jokes are getting much less funny than they used to be. Or perhaps it’s just that I’m four years older now, not sure.

Case in point. Not all that funny…

• Storytelling – D – Poor joke execution. Just stringing lots of bad dirty jokes together in a vain hope that some will be funny.
• Voice – D – I guess saying lots of dirty things is sort of unique…
• Characters – C – I mostly liked the characters from the first season. But this season adds nothing to what was already established.
• Attention Grab – D – Honestly I fast-forwarded through half of this. Can’t drop it since I already watched so much.
• Production – C – Meh.
• Overall – D-
