The harem completes all the routes in the visual novel.
See what I said for the first season. I’ll emphasize again that I appreciate that the show is well aware of the tropes it delves into. This season ended up being a bit dark actually, with the main character acting quite like an actual light novel protagonist and consequently nearly destroying a number of his relationships.
Katou continues to be best girl, if anything she was even more brutal towards the main character than she was in the first season.
I didn’t care for the parts about the creative work as much though. These kids are in high school… they should just have fun and hone their craft. I think it’s a terrible lesson that children need to focus everything on their art if they want to survive in a dog eat dog world. Seriously people, just chill. It’ll be ok if you don’t join the staff of the world’s greatest video game as a sophomore in high school.
Also, be warned, don’t immediately drop this after the first episode… they have a skippable fanservice episode just like the first season did.
