1. The Rolling Girls
Love how active this one is. Never dull.

The new shows aren’t as strong as last season (which was amazing) but there’s still six new shows that I like a fair amount. Also there are some strong sequels airing! What do you think of the new season’s shows?

  1. I think Death Parade is going to be my favourite this season followed by Maria. I’m also liking Yatterman for reasons I can’t explain considering almost nothing it does actually appeals to me. Episode 3 of Rolling Girls was probably enough to show me that I wouldn’t like the show, but I’ll keep up with it just because. I was also liking Magical Boys, but I’m half way through episode 4 and I think the concept has been worn thin by now.

As for sequels, Tokyo Ghoul, Aldnoah.Zero and Durarara!! all do nothing for me. Though I’m still loving Jojo.

    False. Beyond false.

Death Parade’s 3rd episode is pretty heartwarming.

  3. Garo > Death Parade > Yatterman > Parasyte > Binan Koukou

While Aldnoah is still somewhat entertaining, Tokyo Ghoul’s been a bit of a disappointment. I’m also not very fond of Kuma Arashi, as it’s more heavy handed with the symbolism than I thought it would be.

I recommend giving Death Parade another try. Especially episode 3, which shows that not all souls sent to Quindecim get horrible endings.

    1. I gave Death Parade another try today. 3 and 4 were both amazing. If it’s like this I’m definitely up for more. It’s a shame they started on such a mean story.

  4. Rolling Girls episode 3 had more to do with watching a freshly painted wall dry than with the first two episodes. Hopefully it picks up again, episode 2 in particular was great.
