Summer 2012 — First Impressions

We’ll see how well this matches my ending thoughts. In my summer preview, I predicted that this season would be awful. Fortunately, it has some promising shows.

20. Hagure Yuusha no Estetica
If you’re going to make a perverted show, you could at least try to have decent fanservice.

19. Ebiten
If you’re going to make a comedy, you could at least try to make it funny.

So bad I couldn’t finish the first episode: Shibainuko-san, Saint Seiya Omega, Pabu and Mochizu, Naruto SD, Gakkatsu, Arashi no Yoru ni: Himitsu no Tomodachi

29. Hiiro no Kakera
The requisite bishoujo show for the season. Not interested.

28. Acchi Kocchi
Knocked me straight out. I can’t put up with this.

Poorly produced, with awful casting for Medaka.
