I still don’t know what people enjoyed about this one. It somehow feels like I put more effort into watching it then they did into making it. It replaced Chaika as my go-to “this is how little you have to do in order to be given a pass” anime (though Utawarerumono 2 has since bested it on that front).

I wonder if some people got to see a totally different Rokka anime than I did. I was thoroughly bored with it. Waste of a neat setting imho. Amusingly over-designed wardrobe on the cast, though, and the way they ended it was so laugh-out-loud stupid I lost interest in reading the light novels to even confirm if it was just another really weak adaptation, like Gate’s.
Looking back on it, I wouldn’t have gotten through most of the anime I watched that season if I hadn’t been watching them with others.
For Overlord, I thought it was funny at times. But I can also see where you’re coming from.
I won’t argue with the fact that the Rokka no Yuusha ending was completely retarded… I’m just going to pretend it never happened.
